We learnt all the different shots for camera techniques.
Extreme long shot
- Camera is far away from subject
-Good for setting the scene like a birds eye view
Long shot
-Enables us to see the whole subject
-Helps show size and detail
Midshot
-Usually for conversations, from the waist up
-Could also be for a walking scene though too, from waist down
Over the shoulder shot
-Shows people are in conversation
Close up shot
-To focus on the most important thing
-Shows very little background
Extreme close up
-Used for a dramatic and tense effect
